PRESENT PROGRESSIVE, PAST PROGRESSIVE, PAST SIMPLE & PRESENT PERFECT.

PRESENT PROGRESSIVE.

EXAMPLE:
-IamstudyingEnglish
-The internetisgrowing.
Tom and Suearewaitingat the café
-They can’t go. They are working.
-The baby is sleeping. Don’t make noise.

PAST PROGRESSIVE.

EXAMPLE:
-When Laura arrived, I was reading the newspaper
-Alex was reading while Mark was writing
-What was he doing at ten o'clock this morning?
-Linda was singing at eight o'clock last night
-You were studying quietly, when Carly kissed you


PAST SIMPLE.

EXAMPLE:

- Did you eat meat? 
- No, I didn’t eat meat.
- I liked the fruits. 
- I listened to music.
- She ran every morning. 

PRESENT PERFECT.

EXAMPLE



-I have bought a new dress.

-You have studied the lesson.

-He has broken the window.

-She has lost the keys.

-Have I bought a new dress?
